Over the past 49 years I have struggled to find the secret of happiness. It has been as if the secret has been contained in a padlocked chest to which I have no key. I have tried to open the chest by any means possible: Dropping it, beating on it with pipes, throwing it against trees–exhausting myself. Finally, after a lifetime of struggling to open it, I have finally smashed the damn thing open to discover the secret inside:
